King Iovates assigned to Bellerophon two dangerous missions: To banish the horrendous Amazons from his kingdom and exterminate Chimera, a three-headed monster that spread fear. With the help of goddess Athene, Bellerophon tamed Pegasus, the winged horse, and completed succesfully his tasks. This however made him believe that he deserved a place next to the gods. Would something like that go unpunished?
